Best 8 Inch Tablet Review Amazon Fire HD 8 Image Source: AmazonThe Amazon Fire HD 8 inch tablet is the new and improved version of the previous 7inch model. It is a great 8 inch  tablet for entertainment lovers, you can easily watch, read and play anything you want with ease. It has an expandable storage of up to 200GB so you will never run out of space for your favourite music, films or games. All of these reasons are why you find it at the top of our 8 inch tablet review. Number of Amazon Customer Ratings: 27,006 Average Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Stars Check Price DesignEither If your budget doesnt permit you to go all the way to the Fire HD 10, or if you just prefer the handier and more portable dimensions and weight, the Fire HD 8 is one of the best tablet computers on the market today, not just one of the best 8 inch tablet computers. The build continues to feature the plastic back of the previous edition, but with the cheapest edition of the tablet (16GB) only around 10 bucks more expensive than the Fire 7, Im sure its a detail that many people for shopping for a new tablet at this end of t he market will happily let pass.Like the 7, theres a color choice (in this case, its black, yellow, red and blue), and there is no shortage of cases available for tablets of this size, so you are certain to find a shell or a cover that will suit your tastes and requirements to a T. The buttons and ports are pretty well situated on the top edge of the tablet only, but theyre quite tightly space so it will take you a little while to get accustomed to the layout.Display SpeakersThere has been no upgrade for the display, so we have a 1280800-pixel screen over 8in, and that gives you a pixel density per inch of 189ppi. It is by no means the very best resolution or screen quality we have seen, but believe us, it is very, very good indeed for a tablet in this price range.Other FeaturesThere are two cameras on the Fire HD 8. Theres a 5mp camera on the rear, while on the front the camera also can handle 720p video, and pretty decent quality too, so this will come in very handy for video-con ferencing or chatting with friends and family via Skype if youre away from home. The quality of still imagery, however, still tends towards the mediocre. Its not that its bad, as such. Its just not great, and the tablet is slick enough generally that youd just like this one area to be a little bit better.PerformanceThe 1.3GHz quad core processor is the same set up as previous iterations of the Fire tablet, and it worked out fine in all our tests, with no lagging or screen responsiveness issues. Whether you buy the 16GB or the 32GB version, they both come with microSD support of up to 256GB.Battery LifeThe Fire HD 8 has a considerably improved battery life. It will manage around 12 hours in fairly standard use.Best 8 Inch Tablet Review Amazon Fire HD 8 SummaryThis is a wonderful step up from the Amazon Fire 7, as it is noticeably more slick in performance terms than its predecessor, and for only a slight increase in investment. And its still compact and lightweight enough to carry around with you without any trouble at all.Amazon Fire HD 8 - Our VerdictWe really liked the Amazon Fire HD8. It has so much going for it for a tablet in this price range, from its expandable memory to its slick operating system and processing power. If it wasn't for the cameras it would be close to the perfect 8in tablet.Amazon Fire HD 8 - ProsAmazon Fire HD 8 - ProsFunctional but effective quality of build, simplicity of design, slick performance. This tablet is let down only by the so-so to average quality of its cameras.2. Best 8 Inch Tablet Review Nvidia Shield K1 Image Source: AmazonAlthough discontinued, the Nvidia Shield K1 is still available for purchase online, and indeed, it remains one of the best sellng 8 inch tablets on Amazon. Often considered the best 8 inch tablet for gaming, the Nvidia Shield K1 Tablet can be transformed into a gaming console with the Shield controller, which can be purchased separately. Number of Amazon Customer Ratings: 1,639 Average Rating: 3.9 out of 5 Stars Check Price DesignIts pitched, and highly regarded, as the best 8 inch tablet for gaming, especially in conjunction with its separately sold Shield controller, and has also been applauded for its balance of value, power, features and aesthetics. The Nvidia Shield K1 has a remarkably understated design that masks a powerful performer, especially when the most recent update to the machine brought the powerful Android 7.0 Nougat operating system into play. The plain design that appears at first to be so unremarkable fits so comfortably into the palms that youd hardly notice you were holding it. The rear of the tablet is coated in an anti-slip treatment, and there is a rear facing camera of 5mp, and a front-facing shooter of the same resolution. As well as its speakers, you have the option of more private usage thanks to the 3.5mm headphone jack at the top. All the ports are along the top edge, while its buttons are situated on the upper right edge. Of the ports, there is a microUSB, miniHDMI-out, micro-SD (which can take cards of up to 128GB). The rubberised speaker grilles are also front facing.Overall, this tablets aesthetic is rubberized rather than shiny, and we found it more conductive to the rugged usage that it will be given by diehard cameras.Display SpeakersThe screen resolution of 19201200-pixels for an 8in tablet delivers a more than respectable pixel density that really does justice to the latest games. The speakers, too, while perhaps not as impressive and deep as what youd get with a Bluetooth speaker, are still impressive enough for a tablet of this size, and if youre using headphones the experience can be quite immersive.Other FeaturesThe Shield Controller is probably the other features that gamers will be most interested in. However, it sells separately for around $50-60. That having been said, it is a popular option. But if youre going to make use of it, youll have to invest in a cover with a stand for your Shield tablet. Another feature that people enjoy is the stylus. While it would be nice if some of these itemsâ€"the cover, or the stylus, sayâ€"were bundled with the tablet, but that is how Nividia has managed to keep the price relatively low, which has significantly bolstered the value for money of the device over previous Nvidia tablets.PerformanceAt the heart of this machine is the Nvidia Tegra K1 chip, with CUDA cores and 2GB of low-power RAM, which will support common but demanding graphics features in the GeForce graphics card. Its got a superior performance to even some of the most expensive smartphones and tablets.Battery LifeBattery life is around 10 hours of standard tablet computing, but only about half that for gaming. Its probably sufficient as an all-rounder but youll definitely want to take steps to ensure that you have sufficient juice to withstand your usage demands.Best 7 Inch Tablet Review Nvidia Shield K1 SummaryThis is a fabulous solution if youre a gamer who wants the convenience o f a tablet computer but the processing power necessary to play the very best and latest and most demanding video games.Nvidia Shield K1 - Our VerdictBecause the Nvidia Shield K1 can handle most video gaming demands, it's a particularly satisfying table to use, and although it has been discontinued, it's still available for sale and remains a compelling purchase. With only a couple of minor quibbles, we would recommend it.Nvidia Shield K1 - ProsNvidia Shield K1 - ConsThe simplicity of the design, quality of the display and the sheer power of the operating system and processor at its heart.A few accessories wouldn't go amiss, the non-slip surface gets terribly smeared, and it has been discontinued.3. Best 8 Inch Tablet Review Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 Image Source: AmazonThe Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is bursting with great tech features such as  SideSync, which lets you effortlessly transfer content between Samsung devices. This tablet  is truly designed with with the business commuter in mi nd. Its sleek and portable design makes it perfect tablet for using while on the go, and thats why no list of the best 8 inch tablet computers would be truly complete without at least considering it. Number of Amazon Customer Ratings:  1,516 Average Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Stars Check Price DesignWere not crazy about the build quality of this tablet. Its disappointing that for a brand like Samsung the tablet feels plastic-y and cheap. But perhaps in the budget price range, this quibble is a little bit disingenuous so lets try to keep it objective here. The actual design concept is sound. Its very slim and lightweight and if you looked at it quickly, youd swear it was a mini iPad. However, unlike the Apple product, the plastic look is undeniably. To be fair, its smooth to the touch and its edges are rounded, and everything, the ports and buttons, is pretty well laid out. The power and volume is at the top right edge, with the microSD card slot, and at the bottom edge you find the microUS B port, a headphone jack and the single speaker.Weighing 0.69lbs, and meauring 5.4in x 8.2in x 0.29in, with a 0.75in bezel to the sides of the screen in landscape mode, this is pretty decent in terms or portability. It may not be the slimmest or lightest, but its as close as can be.Display SpeakersThe 1024768-pixel screen and 4:3 aspect ratio is okay. We found that it struggled with and pixellated some text (though not to the extent where it was unreadable), but by and large it was fine. Just remember, this is not a high-end tablet. Accept that, and youve got a good display on your hands. Video is excellent, if you dont mind the letterboxing effect that comes with some videos. There is only one speaker, and the audio quality is pretty poor. However, you could rectify that with headphones or a portable speaker.Other FeaturesWe liked both the cameras on the Galaxy Tab A8. The front-facing 2mp camera actually punches above its weight for a front shooter, and the back camera with its 5 mp resolution gives crisp, clear images. Theyre not spectacular, and the color is a little dull for, say, a photographers tastes, but for the standard user it will be fine.PerformanceThe Galaxy Tab A8 is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, and has 1.5GB or RAM and 16GB of storage. This can be expanded hugely, up to 128GB, by way of the microSD card slot. This tablet has a TouchWiz UI running on Android 5.0 Lollipop. This UI is very user-friendly, and there is also a host of apps and other software goodies, including Microsoft Office, which is great if you want to use your table of work. One of the apps, SideSync, enables you to mirror your phones screen, meaning youll be able to send text messages without taking out your phone. And theres a multi-window functionality that can allow you to run utility apps like Play, Gmail and Chrome. Very good feature for a tablet, this. While its not exactly whip-smart at loading apps, the Galaxy Tab A8 tends to run without glitches once lo aded. Larger apps might take longer to load, but thats allâ€"it doesnt really impact on their functionality on this tablet.Battery LifeThe battery life of the Tab A8 ranges from 11-13 hours on a full charge, a more than respectable performance for a tablet at this price point.Best 8 Inch Tablet Review Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 SummaryThis is one of the best budget tablets in the Galaxy range. Samsung has done a good job of focusing on the performance of the tablet, and the processing power at the heart of it, rather than concentrating on pretty aesthetics. Its a plain looking tablet that is more than capable of dealing with anything the average user can throw at it, and so it has to be considered as one of the best 8 inch tablet computers available.Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 - Our VerdictThis is not the sleekest looking 8in tablet, or even the best one, but it still delivers very good value for money for a tablet in this price range, and the UI and preloaded software and apps make it an at tractive proposition indeed.Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 - ProsSamsung Galaxy Tab A8 - ConsProcessing power is solid, the User Interface is user-friendly and attractive, and there's a host of preloaded software, apps and offers for users. The build is a bit plastic-y and some of the features, including the cameras, are really quite average.4. Best 8 Inch Tablet Review NuVision 8in Touchscreen Tablet Image Source: AmazonThis  NuVision device is another of the best  8 inch tablet options, with all  the latest features you could possibly expect from a low cost device. Powered by Windows 10, it is also a speedy, zippy performer across applications. Meanwhile, the full HD screen is a joy for people who enjoying watching movies on tablet. Number of Amazon Customer Ratings:  432 Average Rating: 3.3 out of 5 Stars Check Price DesignFor a tablet in the sub-$100 category, this Windows tablet is almost insanely good value for money, so its not just one of the best 8 inch tablet devices, but one of th e best value tablets, period! The design is pretty low-frills, but we think that at this price point, you really cant expect too much. However, this has a really nice build quality with a design concept and execution thats almost premium standard. Its definitely a lot higher quality that what you might initially be expecting. The founded feel to the ends and the corners and the metal material fits snugly in the palm, and its also very thin at just 7.62mm. We really liked the design of this tablet. It punches way above its weight, and does so incredibly well!On the front of the device is a dedicated Window key that takes you to the start screen and can also be used to wake the appliance when its in sleep mode.Display SpeakersThe NuVision has a fantastic Full HD display and its crisp and clear, with a great color range. It scales incredibly well, and whether youre using apps, games or admining your way through email or documents, it all looks great. This is an awful lot more than can b e said for the built-in speakers. Theyre pretty terrible and wed suggest that youll need either a decent set of headphones or a portable speaker if you intend to watch video or listen to audio via this table.tOther FeaturesThere is a front 2mp camera and 5mp camera rounding out the suite of features that are available with this NuVision tablet. There is also a microUSB, miniHDMI port, a microSD card for storage expansion (the tablet already features an impressive 32GB)PerformanceGeneral processing power is quite decent, and switching between apps places it under no pressure at all. For standard use it will be more than adequate. However, the NuVision uses a Realtek RTL8723BS wifi chip, and for some reason pages are pretty slow to access. The machine is also sluggish at checking for updates. Its not appalling, just not as fast as we would like.Battery LifeA full suite of activity, including video, web browsing, listening to music and using social media apps will really put this table t to the test and youll not get much more than six hours from a single charge. A full charge takes 1-2 hours, so unless you plan to use this tablet exclusively in the home, youll either want to guarantee your power back-up of else look for something a little more potent.Best 7 Inch Tablet Review NuVision 8in Touchscreen Tablet SummaryIn the end of the day with the NuVision 8in tablet, its a mixed bag in which ultimately, the good outweighs the bad. All of the good points are very good indeed. We loved the classy almost premium standard design of the tablet, the way it looks, and the way it feels in the hand. Its display is excellent for a tablet at this price point. Speakers are poor, however, and battery life is a big disappointment.NuVision 8in Touchscreen Tablet - Our VerdictWe ultimately recommend this tablet. We found its wifi speed a little on the slow side but with its snazzy design and quality build, decent processing power and portability, the good definitely outweighs th e bad.NuVision 8in Touchscreen Tablet - ProsNuVision 8in Touchscreen Tablet - ConsVery good standard of build and the design makes the machine slim, lightweight and comfortable to hold.Wifi speed is slower than we'd like, the speakers are pretty awful, and battery power is definitely an issue.5. Best 8 Inch Tablet Review Asus ZenPad 8 Image Source: AmazonOne of the best 8 inch  tablet devices on the market, the Asus ZenPad 8 is smart and sophisticated, with high-performing features that make it a top buy.  It comes with a 32GB internal storage which can be expanded to 128GB, giving it a slight edge over, for example, Apple iPads. It’s so compact and sleek you will hardly notice it in your bag or case while you travel. Number of Amazon Customer Ratings:  523 Average Rating: 3.9 out of 5 Stars Check Price DesignIn design terms the ZenPad 8 is very similar to the ZenPad 7. Its a very clean and polished looking tablet, with an embossed leather rear that is an ideal blend between scr een size and quality and portability. Its small enough to hold in one hand, but its also ideal for use on the go, and doing fun things like taking selfies. Its been compared by many knowledgeable commentators to the iPad mini. While the Mini 4 beats the ZenPad 8 in processing speed, display and camera, it does so because it costs almost twice the price. For most people, the ZenPad will be just as fine as the Apple device, and it even has double the amount of internal storage at 32GB, with the option of expanding this further via the microSD card slot. The Asus ZenPad is graced by a design and build quality that utterly belies its budget price point. It looks worlds apart from the plastic-y look of many of the other tablets in this price range.Display SpeakersAt first glance, the 1280800-pixel display might not seem anything special, but this is a very good display that is easy to read, and which has an excellent color range. Provided you stay out of direct sunlight, its just about pe rfect for a tablet at this price point. The screens color settings can be changed using a color temperature slider control in the settings menu.If youre an audiophile, however, be advised that its a different story with the speakers. Do not come to this tablet if you are expecting the sound quality to be excellent. It isnt even good, despite its being front-facing. Disappoingly weak.Other FeaturesThere are front and rear facing cameras on the ZenPad 8, but they are pretty mediocre, event though the resolution is pretty high for a tablet of this size (8mp on the rear camera, and 5mp on the front). Really and truly, youd be better off looking for your smartphone if you need to take photographs that you will want to keep and share with others. The pictures taken by the ZenPad 8 are pretty flat.PerformanceAt the heart of the tablet is a quad-core 64-bit Intel processor and 4GB of RAM. The ZenPad has no difficulty leaping between apps and it loads games pretty quickly. The User Interface is very Asusâ€"quite colorful but its not as good as some of the others weve reviewed for this post.Battery LifeBattery life is very good and it easy lives up to the eight hours on a single charge that Asus promises. And if used more casually and intermittently, users might even get close to 10 hours.Best 7 Inch Tablet Review Asus ZenPad 8 SummaryThe Asus ZenPad 8 is one of the best 8 inch tablet devices we have seen in the budget range, and its dragged down into average territory only by factors such as the cameras, which are not essential anyway in this world of smartphones. Good value, and recommended.Asus ZenPad 8 - Our VerdictIt may be a little bit of a mixed bag in that it has a pretty gorgeous looking design aesthetic and quality build, but it is dragged down a little bit by the peripherals. On balance, if you need a quality tablet without breaking the bank, look here first.Asus ZenPad 8 - ProsAsus ZenPad 8 - ConsThe design and build quality, and above average processing ' poke' and battery power.Cameras are not as good quality as we'd like, and the User Interface is a little average.6. Best 8 Inch Tablet Review Samsung Galaxy S2 8.0 Image Source: AmazonHigh-powered and  affordable, the Samsung Galaxy S2 8.0 is packed with features that make this tablet a great buy. Designed with metallic silver edges this tablet is sleek and pleasing to the eye. Its lightweight and portable design makes working or reading on the go a breeze. If youre shopping for the best 8 inch tablet options, dont forget the Galaxy S2 8.0! Number of Amazon Customer Ratings:  1,203 Average Rating: 4.4 out of 5 Stars Check Price DesignThe design of this Samsung tablet alone give Apples iPad line a serious run for its money. The Super-AMOLED display is breathtaking with its dark blacks, striking brights and vibrant color range. The 20481536-pixel resolution is absolutely fantastic, but we must say that its probably a little bit better for web browsing or app use, than it is for watc hing movies, due to its rather square display shape.Display SpeakersThis is one of the thinnest and lightest tablets out there, just 5.6mm thin and weighing only 0.58lbs. This sleek image has an incredibly premium look and feel. Yes its plastic, but it feels real and not forced, unlike previous iterations with their faux leather textures and stitching accents. the controls are unobtrusive and well placed. The power button, volume rocker and microSD slot are also on the right side of the tablet, with the two speakers, a headphone jack and a microUSB port along the bottom. The edges of this device are pleasingly flat, which makes it an awful lot more comfortable to hold than some of the other appliance on this page. Its dimensions (especially the incredible thickness) as well as its materials make it a pleasure to carry around, and if youre carrying it in a bag or a backpack, we promise you, it will be possible to forget you have it about your person at all.Other FeaturesAs well as it s cameras, the tablet comes with a heap from free software goodies from Samsung, including productivity and reading apps. It has multi-window function as well as a fingerprint scanner, in addition to user interface apps that will probably be of more use to people new to tablet commuting, or to Samsung tablet computing, than someone who has been around the block a few times. Still, these features are good value, and not to be sneezed at.PerformanceThis is a powerful tablet, running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, with a Quad 1.8GHz and Quad 1.4GHz Octacore application processor. The machine has 32 GB Flash memory with 3GB of RAM. Additional performance enhancing features in this tablet including Bluetooth 4.1 with low-energy function and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac MIMOâ€"a step up there from regular Wi-Fi.Gaming on this tablet is good all-round, from the graphics to the all-round processing fluidity. There are no glitches and no delays or anything else that would interfere with the typical gaming experience.Battery LifeWith its 4,000mAH Li-Ion battery, youll get a more than respectable power life from this tablet, a full battery charge delivering some 10 hours of web browsing, and up to 14 hours of video time. It will even, the manufacturer claims, deliver around 74 hours of music playtimeBest 8 Inch Tablet Review Samsung Galaxy S2 8.0 SummaryThis by no means the best table computer ever made, but it is a pretty solid competitor for the Apple iPad line. It has a noteworthy design and is incredibly portable, and has sufficient processing power to handle any demand that you might make of it, whether work or entertainment related.Samsung Galaxy S2 8.0 - Our VerdictThis is an affordable tablet with a premium standard level of quality and processing. It's almost as good as the iPad, and therefore highly recommended.Samsung Galaxy S2 8.0 - ProsSamsung Galaxy S2 8.0 - ConsBeautiful design, quality build and lightweight portable feel create a tablet that's suitable for all circumstances. The display is beautiful, although the square-ish shape might not be to everyone's taste. To continue the iPad comparison theme, we feel that the Galaxy S2 8.0 is at the top of its bent and has nowhere else to go, and might have difficulty getting there if it did. iPads always seem as if they have more miles left in the tank.7. Best 8 Inch Tablet Review Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 8in Image Source: AmazonThe distinctive  design of the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 8in makes it one of the best 8 inch tablet devices, enabling the user  to view the screen from numerous angles. One particularly great feature on the  Yoga Tab 3 is its  8MP camera, which rotates 180 degrees and also offers front- and rear-facing lens. Number of Amazon Customer Ratings:  524 Average Rating: 3.8 out of 5 stars Check Price DesignLike other products in the Lenovo Yoga Tab line, this is another superbly designed tablet that is geared towards the comfort of the user, from its ergonomic shape (in the form of cylindric al spine that also incorporates a kickstand, complete with a cutout that would allow it to be hung from a wall hook. Its also lightweight enough (under 2lbs) to be carried and used like a traditional book. Unlike the 10.1in edition, this spine does not hamper the user as much. Overall, this truly looks the part, with its low-ley matte-black surfacing.Display SpeakersThe display of the 8in Yoga Tab 3 is another of its most impressive features. It is suitable for viewing in all light conditions, whether youre playing video or games (although we would suggest that, like most tablets, it is best not used in direct sunlight). There are two incredibly impressive front-facing Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers which will give you a standard of sound to match the visuals. There will be no need to hunt for headphones to appreciate the sound of this tablet.Other FeaturesOther features in this table include its rotatable camera that can be turned through 180-degrees for maximum flexibility. Picture quality is pretty goodâ€"certainly for a tablet in the lower price range. Another of its most impressive features is AnyPen technology, developed by Lenovo to enable the user to allow any conductive object as a pen on the screen (although be careful that this is not a material that would damage the surface of the screen).PerformanceThis tablet has a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ8009 processor, Adreno 304 GPU, 16GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM. Theres a microSD card slot that takes cards of up to 128GB, and the tablet also offers Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. For standard social media apps and browsing its fine. The difficulty begins when you try to do too much simultaneously. It will struggle, as, indeed, will most tablets when you try to do too many things simultaneously. This was no better or no worse than others that weve reviewed. Its a great little tablet for playing more basic games and entertainment apps, and will actually do quite okay on the more demanding gam es as long as you are only playing that game and not attempting to do something else in the background.Battery LifeThis has one of the best battery life spans in the business. Lenovo claims it can last for around 20 hours and we found that even using it to loop a high quality video at medium brightness, it will provide around 14 hours, which is still incredibly impressive, especially for, say, watching box sets.Best 8 Inch Tablet Review Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 8in SummaryWe really like this 8in tablet. It has an incredibly nice design, and is aimed at making the user experience as convenient and comfortable for the user as possible. There is more to tablet usage and what makes a tablet great than the thickness of the device, and Lenovo seem to have gone about the design of this tablet with that attitude in mind. However, this means that they may have a tablet on their hands that, for some tastes, might be a little bit on the bulky side. Overall, though, we found this one to the a winner .Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 8in - Our VerdictA fantastic tablet, with super display, great sound, fantastic battery life and high-standard functionality, that might be let down only slightly by its thickness.Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 8in - ProsLenovo Yoga Tab 3 8in - ConsBuild quality and design, as well as the quality of the speakers and the display are the big winners here.Although the cylindrical spine is unusual and eye-catching, it might make the tablet too heavy for some tastes.8. Best 8 Inch Tablet Review LG G Pad II 8.0 Image Source: AmazonThe LG G Pad II is most immediately notable for its  fantastic 1280 x 800 pixel screen, which is sharper than most other tablets in its price range. Also enjoyable is the ‘knock code’ security  feature, which allows the user  to create an unique tapping pattern for unlocking  the home screen. Number of Amazon Customer Ratings:  243 Average Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars Check Price DesignThe G Pad II was LGs first update to its popular G-Pad, and it has an unusually vertical design orientation. It comes with a stylus and, that rarity, which we love, a full-size USB port, in addition to a microSD slot that will take cards up to 128GB capacity. Its build quality is pretty standardâ€"nothing poor but nothing particularly special either. One of the things that did surprise us, given the appearance of the device, was its weight, which is 12.3ozâ€"very much on the heavy side for a tablet at this point in time.Display SpeakersThe display is 1280800 pixels with a pixel density of 189ppi, which is very much above average. For this tablet, which measures 8.3in x 4.89in x 0.35in, LG have retained a 16:9 aspect ratio instead of the more trendy 4:3, which is actually quite refreshing.Other FeaturesThe stylus on this device is a great touch. Its very slim and narrow. Apart from that, though, an in overall terms, the design of this tablet is not going to win LG any awards. Other features include a pair of cameras, 5mp on the rear, which takes pr etty decent still images, and 2mp on the front, which is very good for video-calling.PerformanceThe LG G Pad II runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and it has the more than decent 1.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor. For general use, such as social media, web browsing and watching video, this is pretty decent. But anything more advanced than that will make it struggle a bit. But one really cool feature is the pre-installed Microsoft Office software, in addition to 100GB of Cloud storage for two years. On the usage front, this tablet also gives you QSlide, which enables you to split the screen in two for multi-tasking. Q Pair 2.0, meanwhile, allows you to pair the tablet with an Android phone, and use the tablet to take calls and respond to SMS messages.Battery LifeBattery life is a more than respectable 9 hours, which is a lot more than some of the other machines featured in this review post.Best 8 Inch Tablet Review LG G Pad II 8.0 SummaryThis tablet is an object lesson in the art of nev er judging a book by its cover. It is one of the plainest looking tablets on the market, but it has some of the best features, and if its not the most powerful tablet in the world, it has enough poke to deliver a very rounded tablet computing package.LG G Pad II 8.0 - Our VerdictThis was an unexpected pleasure. The LG G Pad II 8.0 may not be the prettiest looking tablet we have ever seen, but it's as functional as anything on this page.LG G Pad II 8.0 - ProsLG G Pad II 8.0 - ConsDecent build quality, quite powerful processing power for a tablet of this size, good battery life, good display, and reasonably sleek designA little bit on the heavy size for a tablet in 2020, and everything tends ever so slightly towards the so-so standard.Image Source:  LenovoIf you found this post interesting you may also be interested in the following popular AGENT posts:Best Portable Air Conditioners Best Window Air Conditioners Huawei Tablet Review Asus Tablet Review Microsoft Tablet Review Amazon Fire Tablet Review Apple iPad Review Lenovo  Tablet Review Samsung Tablet Review Android  Tablet Review 40 of the top selling Tablets on Amazon 9 amazing tablets for Entrepreneurs Best 10 Inch Tablets Best 9 Inch Tablets Best 7 Inch TabletsBest Amazon Tablet Cases and Covers Best Tablet Cases and Covers Best HTC Phone Cases and Covers Best Microsoft Tablet Cases and Covers Best Apple Macbook Cases and Covers Best Google Tablet Cases Best Asus Tablet Cases iPad Cases Best Huawei Tablet Cases Best Lenovo Tablet Cases Best 9 Inch Tablet Cases Best 8 Inch Tablet Cases Best 7 Inch Tablet CasesBest 18 Inch Laptop Bags Best 17 Inch Laptop Bags Best 16 Inch Laptop Bags Best 15 Inch Laptop Bags Best 14 Inch Laptop Bags Best 13 Inch Laptop Bags Best Sony Laptop Cases Best MSI Laptop Cases Best Asus Laptop Cases Best Lenovo Laptop Cases Best Acer Laptop Cases Best Toshiba Laptop Cases Best Dell Laptop Cases Best Samsung Laptop Cases Best HP Laptop Cases Best Macbook Cases10 Best iPhone Cases 9 Best Galaxy Phone Cases Best Selling HTC Phone Cases Best Selling LG Phone CasesBest Selling Kindle Books 10 Best Headphones
